JESSICA SILES - PRINT DIGITAL PORTFOLIO

I graduated from the University of Central Florida in December 2022 with dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and journalism with a minor in women and gender studies.

During my time with the journalism program I have been a social issues/minority affairs beat reporter for NSM Today, a city of Winter Garden beat reporter for the Orlando Sentinel, and the life section editor for NSM Today.

Outside of journalism, I coach speech and debate for all ages and I work as a substitute teacher for grades k-12. I enjoy reading, hiking, and going to concerts. 

I’m hoping to someday apply my verbal and written communication and advocacy skills to make a difference.
